getPublished Award 2011
From today on, interested photographers may hand in their photo book
dummies for nomination in the getPublished Award2011 of the PHOTO+ART BOOK HAMBURG'11. The competition for the best newcomers in the photo book business has officially begun. Winners will be announced on the 4th of September 2011 at the PHOTO+ART BOOK HAMBURG'11.
Photographers from all disciplines are invited to submit their photo book dummy in the context of the getPublished AWARD 2011. The winning photo book will officially be produced and distributed by the publishing company Seltmann+Söhne. An international jury of leading experts in the field will select the 10 best photo book dummies out of all submitted entries at the beginning of the PHOTO+ART BOOK HAMBURG'11.
Presentation to a jury of international experts and the public
Visitors of the Photo+Art Book Hamburg'11 are invited to examine the 10 selected and presented designs in an exhibition and to vote for their personal favorite. The winners of the getPublished AWARD 2011 will be chosen by the visitors of the exhibition Photo+Art Book Hamburg'11.
The winners will be announced on Sunday, the 4th of September 2011, at 4.00 pm CET. The publishing company Seltmann+Söhne will in succession entirely produce, distribute and promote the winning photo book.
The runner-up and the third placed winner will be awarded with an innovation in the photo book market: their photo book will be available exclusively as an app for iPhone and iPad, produced by the young publishing company MagBooks. The photo book manufacturing company myphotobook has donated other photo book prizes for the winning photo books on the positions 4 to 10.
